Uh, Where Did The 2nd Half of 2018 Go?

So life has been going full speed ahead once Summer hit and hasn't stopped yet - and we've just crossed over into the new year. So many things have happened - many good things - yet I can barely pause to catch my breath. (I'm sure I'm not alone in this!) We went on vacations, attended weddings, worked hard, and relaxed whenever we could. In the Fall, both Jason and Ethan shot nice buck, stocking our freezer and fridge with all kinds of deer bologna, sticks, burger, and jerky. Noel finished a pretty successful field hockey season on the JV team and attended two homecomings. Ethan was accepted to the colleges that he applied to, leaving a tough decision on which one to attend. (can anyone suggest a career for those who love history but don't want to teach it?) I had a blast with different photography sessions, meeting fun families and couples, amazing high school seniors, a sweet baby, and some pretty cute kids. Jay and I spent an amazing week away together, celebrating an early 20 year anniversary by cruising to the Southern Caribbean. This was our first cruise experience and it was FANTASTIC. Christmas and New Year's brought my brothers home and a surprise visit from my parents who are snowbirds in Florida this Winter.

What's in store for the Winter of 2019? I'm hoping to schedule two complimentary indoor lifestyle photography sessions. I have been saving for a full frame camera for a couple of years now and have finally taken the plunge to purchase it. She arrived yesterday! I hope to get to know her by using her - and what better way than to offer a couple of free sessions to two volunteer guinea pigs? I'll post more on this opportunity in the near future, so stay tuned!!

Here's a beauty that graciously agreed to be my first guinea pig:

So tell me, how did the 2nd half of 2018 go for you? What are you looking forward to this Winter? Let me know! Winter can get long and it brings a bright spot to my day when I hear different ways to have fun during this time - lights in the tunnel instead of just at the end of it, lol!
