Last year we tore down wallpaper and painted our kitchen. This year I'd like to update the front living room - it's the home of ESP (Emily Stump Photography). Although it is my office, I would love for it to have a comfy classy boho feel. A neutral wall color for backdrop with pops of vibrant color in the accessories. I envision many pictures of all sizes from vintage artwork, my photos, to old black and white photos adorning my walls. I love the mix of industrial with soft fabrics, the simple streamlined mid-century modern look with an earlier 20th century craftsman style mixed in. I guess I'm a bit eclectic. But design is not my forte and I struggle with figuring out spaces - how to fit shelving with my desk and printer stand, how everything looks very rectangular with my rectangular hope chest, a rectangular room, rectangular windows ... I need some roundness introduced into this space!

THE BEFORE

In the midst of Winter, and a Winter Advisory in affect with the threat of snow tomorrow, I also can't help but dream of patio furniture, fire-pits, outdoor area rugs, and sweet lighting on strands swagged from one end of our deck to the other. And warm weather. With candles. And wine. And the chatter of friends and family..

What house projects are you working on or dreaming of? Give me some inspiration!!! Send us some pics! This Winter is long - we need dreams, projects, & little get-aways to see us through. And if anybody is in the mood to help me plan out this little project of mine - please reach out! I need your help!

What's your Project 2019?
